Shipping Policy

Haatzo is a marketplace; orders are shipped directly by the Sellers you buy from, not by Haatzo. This policy explains how shipping is handled across the Platform, what to expect, and what to do if there’s an issue.
1. Who Ships Your Order
Each order is fulfilled by the Seller who listed the item. Sellers select their own courier partners and packaging methods. Haatzo provides the platform, payment processing, and dispute mediation, but does not handle physical fulfilment.
2. Where We Ship
The Platform currently supports shipping within India. Some Sellers may also ship internationally; international availability and shipping fees are shown on individual listings where applicable.
Buyers from outside India should be aware they are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees imposed by their country.
3. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are set by Sellers and disclosed at checkout before payment. Possibilities include:
- Free shipping (cost included in the item price).
- A flat shipping fee.
- A fee calculated based on shipping address (zone-based rates).
During live auctions, the shipping cost shown applies to the Buyer’s saved default shipping address. If the delivery address is changed after the bid wins, additional shipping may apply and will be communicated before dispatch.
4. Processing & Dispatch
Sellers are required to dispatch orders within 7 business days of order confirmation, unless a different timeframe is explicitly stated on the listing. Many Sellers ship within 1–3 business days.
You will receive an email and an in-app notification when your order is dispatched, including any tracking number provided by the Seller.
5. Estimated Delivery Time
Delivery times depend on the courier and destination. Indicative ranges:
- Within the same metro/state: 2–5 business days after dispatch.
- Between major Indian cities: 4–8 business days after dispatch.
- Remote areas, North-Eastern states, or hill regions: up to 14 business days after dispatch.
- International (where available): 10–30 business days after dispatch, plus customs clearance.
These are estimates only. Actual delivery times can be affected by courier load, weather, holidays, and customs processing.
6. Tracking
Where the courier provides tracking, the Seller will share the tracking number on your order page. You can check tracking by going to your order in the Platform and clicking the tracking link, or by visiting the courier’s website with the tracking number.
If a tracking number is not provided after 3 business days past the dispatch confirmation, contact the Seller through the order page.
7. If Your Order Doesn't Arrive
If your order is delayed beyond the estimated window:
- First check the tracking status. Couriers occasionally mark items “delivered” before they actually arrive — wait 24 hours and check with neighbours/security.
- Contact the Seller through your order page and request an update.
- If the Seller does not respond within 3 business days, or if 14 days have passed since dispatch with no delivery, you can request a refund per our Refund Policy.
8. Address Changes & Failed Delivery
Please ensure your shipping address is accurate at checkout. Address changes after dispatch are not always possible and may result in additional charges.
If a parcel is returned to the Seller due to an incorrect address, refused delivery, or repeated failed delivery attempts, the Buyer may be required to pay re-shipping costs to receive the item, or accept a refund less the original shipping cost.
9. Damaged or Lost in Transit
If your parcel arrives damaged, take photos of the packaging and the item before unpacking further, and contact the Seller within 48 hours. If the item is lost in transit, the Seller is responsible for filing a courier claim and either re-shipping or refunding you.
